- Dusk and dawn are peak biting hours and peak feeding hours. That overlap is not a coincidence.
- Wear it loose. Fabric pressed flat against your forearm is fabric a mosquito can reach through.
- Black mesh reflects less light on the water than white.
- Still air near the bank is worse than a breeze. Fish the windward side when you can.
